Caching on Farmington Creek

When I think of Farmington Creek, I think of Farmington Canyon, dumping into Farmington Pond and running under 600 North. But of course it winds its way on to the GSL. We were happy to stroll along this section of the creek in West Farmington, just east and flowing southwest behind the Justice Center and the Fairgrounds, with still quite a bit of water for the end of September and flanked by cooling trees where we were. Fun to find 3 or 4 caches in a new-to-us area of our hometown. The City's Trails Committee has certainly gone to a lot of work and done a good job. I think they are proud that Farmington has more than 100 miles of excellent trails (including our little "rock walk"), more than any other city in Davis County and perhaps 2nd only to SLC in the state.
