MOVING DAY

Saturday, April 16th, was moving day and luckily the sun was out most of the day and it was warm. Laur, Abram, Baron, Donette, cousin Scott and helpers from the Elder's Quorum joined forces to move the Barkers from Lehi to Eagle Mountain. One big U-Haul load, 2 trips in the CRV and a side trip in Bryce's pickup truck to Midvale for the refrigerator and the day was done. Paula and Airie took Brielle and Colby to the Hardy house in Provo for a day full of fun activities. Grandma had prepared 12 envelopes with things to do. We took turns choosing the envelopes and following the instructions inside.

We made and decorated rabbit ears.

We played Adventureland.

And Cootie.

We went McDonald's for lunch.

We put together the Pooh Honey Pot Puzzle.

We made rabbit crackers out of various crackers, cream cheese, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, capers, cheddar cheese and carrots.

We read 6 Easter books.

We played the Pooh Bear Game.

We went to a playground at a nearby park.

On a slide.

On a pole.

On another slide.

On the swings.

A tree in bloom.

We made Easter baskets and Easter Chick cards.

We made foam photo frames.

The new kitchen.

The new bedroom.

At the end of the day, the gang went out for dinner. There were a few sore muscles the next day, but all-in-all it went smoothly. The Eagle Mountain Barkers (including MacPuddy) are happy to be settling in.

OK, somehow we missed going through and posting the photos of Easter and Airie's Birthday on April 24th. Luckily we discovered this oversight (9 months later) and have added a link (to 17 photos) in order for you to view them, if you wish.

Thank you so much for all of your help that day. We could never have done it without you and Laur's help. The kids had a blast and things went smoother than we ever thought they would. You guys are the best!!!!!
