Saturday Adventure

Last Saturday, November 15th, Baron and Brie came out to Davis County on a mission. Brie wanted to photograph fowls for a Reflections Contest. After a quick lunch at MacDoughs in Bountiful we headed for Bountiful Lake and then on to Farmington Bay. It was a beautiful day, a little cool, but plenty of blue sky. Brie took dozens of great photos to make into a collage for the contest. We all had a fun-filled afternoon.

Brie photos a feathered friend.

Daddy and daughter are approached by a bunch of friendly but aggressive food-foraging fowls.

A gaggle (?) of ducks swimming across Bountiful Lake (?), Pond (?) to see if we have any bread.

A belly to rival Maki's?

Duck-Duck with fine white feathers and bright orange feet.

...artsy beak and fluffy textured neck...

The leader of the pack...he ruled the others with his quack, quack, quack (and head gear).
They were all very vocal!

Grandma and Brie chillin' at water's edge.

Playing with the Poofies.

Brie and a long-handled Poofie and a toothy grin.

Watching the Poofie Pooh Stick Boat glide under the bridge and down the canal.

3 generations of Barkers

Looking across Farmington Bay (peppered with black birds) to Bountiful temple.

It's over there....!

Mr. Camera Man

Poofies framing Francis Peak.

When we got back home, we watched the 2nd half of the BYU/Air Force Football Game. Brie drew this awesome picture of the the BYU Cougars...Austin Collie (9) receiving a Max Hall (15) pass. Notice the scoreboard and wind beneath the pigskin.

Sounds like you all had a great Saturday. I'm sure Brie got some good pics...she's quite talented with a camera. I especially like her take on the football game. :)

I not sure if there are too many things that could "rival" Maki's belly...maybe Wub's? Wow what a nice day, I'm glad you got to enjoy it. The birds are cute and I love Brie's illustration!
