On Presidents Day we drove out to Farmington Bay. Saw a number of Great Blue Herons in the Rookery.

About 2/3 of the 150 Bald Eagles were gone, but we managed to spot at least 6.

Saw a couple of kestrel falcons on the telephone wires. We also stopped in at the small visitors center.

Colby and the classic old Nerfuls. (Baron, I found the green head later.) Sydney's "Thank You for the birthday presents" note is on the refrigerator.

Baron and Colby were out for a visit and tax prep session. Grandma and Colby played Walt Disney's Adventureland. Grandma made 5 dozen Snickerdoodles.

Dad and I went to Provo to visit the Carl Bloch paintings displayed at the BYU MOA. The huge "altar pieces" from Denmark and Sweden were impressive. This one is doubting Thomas.

We enjoyed Airie & Abram's company, went out for Pho rice noodles and summer rolls and played a rousing game of pinochle. Dad and I both had lay-down Shoot the Moons! Oh, and thanks to Autumn for telling us about the amoeba rug!

YAY! We had such a good time. And I loved that our last hand was the shoot and we just beat them. HAZAH!! :)
The rug thing was pretty cool huh? Glad you enjoyed the Bloch exhibit, it's really extraordinary that they pulled it off. --Dad you need to make a calendar of bird photos! Your pictures of them are AWESOME!
