Spotted Towhee. We've seen them scratching around under the red twigs, but they've finally found the feeder. They'll cart off the whole peanuts...competition for the scrub jays.

Thanks to Autumn for reminding us. We went to the Hood-to-Coast movie event...it only played at 6:00pm on Tuesday, 1-11-11 at a few selected theaters. We had fun watching this documentary that followed 4 teams through the race. Quite motivational and beautiful scenery. It was both encouraging and discouraging!! Legs #1 and #20 are definitely out. The audience people seemed to like it.

I LOVE that shot of the hopping Chickadee. YAY!! And Moochie said that he can relate to the jay not finding the snackies he wanted, he he he. ;)
