On Saturday we made a quick trip up to Bear Lake to interview a prospective renter. It was a nice day, but cloudy in St. Charles. Took some photos of the old homestead. Dad took the ones of me and the pony. I had fun taking the rest of the shots. Good to have the house rented for another year.

If you look carefully you will see a light socket. 45 years ago it had chain. One of Dad's two milk cows figured out how to pull the chain and turn on the light. She was quite proud of herself.

Nice turkey, he he. I've always been puzzled by turkeys looking happy at Thanksgiving. Oh well. I liked the photos, and what a friendly pony!! Glad you got the house rented again. We're excited for some vacation time and getting to see everyone on Thursday!! :)
Holy cow!!! What great pictures! I want to frame them and hang them in my house, they are so pretty. I think that was a great idea to get pictures of everything before things at the house change or it gets bought out or something.
Nice Pictures! Looks like you had fun with the camera. I especially liked the "outhouse and shed", the "backyard gate" and the "remaining apples". The white horse is oh-so-cute too!
